Grits and sausage lunch for toddler

Hooray for leftovers! I’m trying to recreate a dish of creamy grits and smoky tomato sauce with sausage/peppers/onions we had at Acorn Winery in Healdsburg this weekend during a wine country event. Zin Restaurant catered it — the dish was outstanding! I’m close but not quite there with this version; tinkering to come in the weeks ahead.

Grits lunch for toddler お弁当

  • stone ground yellow grits with cream and cheese
  • sausage with tomatoes, red bell pepper and onions
  • grilled salmon
  • sauce pig with pesto cream inside
  • red grapes
